Reputation Management: “An Untouched Area in Egypt”

The BP Egypt Oil Professorship in Management Studies is held by Hamed Shamma ’99, ’02, assistant professor of marketing in the School of Business. Shamma co-authored the recently published first edition of Marketing Management in the Arab world, the most widely-used marketing textbook in graduate business schools worldwide. BP’s generosity in endowing this professorship has facilitated Shamma’s ability to further his research. Shamma holds a PhD in marketing from The George Washington University in 2007, an MBA from AUC in 2002 and a BA in business administration from AUC in 1999.
